Terms
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms apply when you sell your Mac mini to us. Please read them before you accept an offer. When we say “we” or “us”, we mean Moropo Limited, trading as WeBuyMacMinis.com. Company number 13970017. Registered office: 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG.
1. Your quote
- We only buy Apple silicon Mac minis (M1 and newer). We don’t buy Intel Mac minis.
- We base your quote on your answers about your Mac mini’s chip, memory, storage, Ethernet and condition.
- When you accept an offer, it stays valid for 7 days. If we haven’t received your Mac mini by then, we may give you a new quote at our current price.
- If we’ve paused new purchases when you accept, the 7 days start when we email you to say we’re buying again.
- If you answer “Not sure” to a question, we quote for the lowest option and check it when your Mac mini arrives.
- The offer depends on our check when your Mac mini arrives. See section 5.
- A quote isn’t a binding offer. We can withdraw or change any quote, including one you’ve accepted or one we’ve emailed you, at any time and for any reason, until we’ve paid you. If we do, and we already have your Mac mini, we’ll send it back to you for free.
2. Our price guarantee
We’ll beat any instant trade-in price for your Mac mini. To claim it:
- Get an instant cash trade-in quote from another UK company, for the same model, spec and condition.
- Email it to help@webuymacminis.com before you send us your Mac mini. A screenshot or link is fine.
- If it’s higher than our offer and still valid, we’ll offer you more than it.
It covers instant cash offers only. It doesn’t cover store credit, gift cards, vouchers, trade-in towards a new product, marketplace listings such as eBay, or limited-time bonuses.
3. What you agree to
When you accept an offer, you confirm that:
- you’re 18 or over and live in the UK
- you own the Mac mini, or have the owner’s permission to sell it
- it isn’t stolen, lost, on finance, or owned by an employer or school
- you’ve turned off Find My Mac and signed out of iCloud, so it has no Activation Lock
If we think a Mac mini is stolen, we won’t pay for it, and we may tell the police.
4. Sending your Mac mini
- We’ll post you a free Royal Mail prepaid envelope.
- Wrap your Mac mini well before you put it in the envelope, for example in bubble wrap.
- We cover loss or damage in the post, as long as you use our envelope and wrap it well.
- You only need to send the Mac mini and its power cable. We can’t promise to return anything else you send.
5. When it arrives
We check that your Mac mini matches your answers and works fully.
- If it matches, we pay you the offer price.
- If it doesn’t match, for example it has a different spec, worse condition, a fault, or Activation Lock is still on, we’ll email you a revised offer. You can accept it, or ask us to send your Mac mini back.
- If you ask for it back, you pay the return postage. We’ll tell you the cost first.
6. Payment
- We pay by bank transfer, usually within 2 working days of checking your Mac mini.
- The Mac mini becomes ours once we’ve paid you.
7. Your data on the Mac mini
- Please back up anything you want to keep, then erase your Mac mini before you send it.
- We securely erase every Mac mini we receive. We can’t recover anything once it’s erased.
8. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time before we pay you. Just email us. If we already have your Mac mini, we’ll send it back, and you pay the return postage.
9. Our responsibility
We’re responsible for your Mac mini while it’s with us. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t have expected, or for data left on your Mac mini. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights, or our responsibility for anything the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
10. The law
These terms are under the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
11. Contact and changes
Questions? Email help@webuymacminis.com. If we change these terms, the version that applies is the one shown when you accepted your offer. How we use your data is explained in our privacy notice.
